Emirates Airline (Dubai) will upgrade the Dubai-Toronto route to the new Airbus A380 on June 1, 2009. The new type will be operated three times a week on the new route. Twice-daily Dubai-Bangkok A380 service will also be started on June 1. The changes are a result of the company dropping A380 service to New York (JFK) on June 30 due to the diminished demand.
