Iberia and Airberlin sign a new code-share agreement

Iberia (Madrid) and Airberlin (Berlin) have signed an agreement, effective today (July 8), for sharing flight codes. Iberia passengers now have easier access to much of airberlin’s domestic route network and to other European cites served by Germany’s second largest airline.
Iberia codes will go on Airberlin flights between Düsseldorf and Hamburg, as well as Stuttgart; between Berlin and Stuttgart, Gothenburg, Oslo, and Salzburg; between Munich and Hamburg and Hanover;  between Frankfurt and Hamburg; and between Barcelona and several German cities.
Meanwhile, Airberlin codes will be added to Iberia flights between Madrid and Munich, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Frankfurt, Geneva, and Zurich, giving Airberlin passengers more convenient access to these cities served by the Spanish airline.
