Lufthansa to fly to Qingdao, China

Lufthansa (Frankfurt) will launch the Frankfurt-Shenyang-Qingdao route on March 26, 2012. The new route will be operated with Airbus A340-300s three times a week. The Frankfurt-Guangzhou route will be dropped at the same time.

Qingdao, also known in the West by its postal map spelling of Tsingtao, is a major port city with a population of over 8.7 million (2010 census) in eastern Shandong province in eastern China.
