Air Sylhet (Akal Air) (Birmingham) ended scheduled operations on April 27, 2009 after flying for less than a month. Operations began on April 4 but many flights ran late or were cancelled with its wet leased Boeing 757-225 TF-LLY (msn 22691).

Many flights ran late for many inexplicable reasons…and not for gadair fault… and almost all flights were with only 50, 70 pax. the capacity of the LLY is 225. very long flights with only these passengers is not very profitable. Then akal air didnt pay the acmi to gadair and now is in bankruptcy and me without job…..
