Air India may consider a purchase of grounded and undelivered Boeing 737 MAX Chinese jets from Boeing according to a report by Bloomberg News.
Boeing is growing tired of the Chinese backlog of undelivered 737 MAX jets that remain grounded.
China has not approved the MAX type to fly again by Chinese airlines.
Air India, now owned by the Tata Group, is looking at a chance of upgrading its aging fleet and the aircraft would probably be offered at a discount.
