Precision Air ATR 42-500, registered as 5H-PWF, and operating flight PW494 from Dar es Salaam to Bukoba, Tanzania on November 6, 2022 with 39 passengers and four crew members on board, crashed landed into Lake Victoria while landing at Bukoba in foggy weather. The aircraft overran the runway and ended up in the shallow waters of Lake Victoria.
19 people died in the crash.
Then airline issued this statement:
