Air Nostrum cancels hundreds of flights due to a pilots strike

Air Nostrum is struggling through a strike by its pilots during the peak Christmas – New Years travel period.

The airline issued this statement:

Due to the announced strike called by the pilots union SEPLA, we are forced to cancel flights from Thursday, December 22 to Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Clients affected by these cancelations may opt for the reimbursement of their ticket or change to another flight or date,  subject to availability.

Clients who have purchased tickets on Iberia.com will receive a message from Iberia, the company who Air nostrum operates for concerning the incident. If, on the other hand, the passenger has purchased a ticket from a travel agent, it will be the agency who will contact the affected client.  If no notification is received, you may contact Serviberia (900 111 500 from Spain) or contact your Travel agent to find an alternative.

Air Nostrum apologizes for the inconvenience caused to its clients and would like to thank them for their understanding in this situation. Air Nostrum would like to assure its clients that it is doing everything possible to offer an alternative solution.
