Lufthansa’s flight LH457 between Los Angeles and Frankfurt with Boeing 7478 D-ABYJ on December 26 was forced to make an emergency landing at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport after a laptop caught fire in the cabin.
Flight attendants took swift action and used an onboard fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire.

Meanwhile, onboard an Ural Airlines Airbus A321 (VP-BBH, but illegally re-registered by Russia as RA-73842) was evecuated on the ramp at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport after a passenger’s power bank caught fire after it suffered a thermal runaway. The airliner was evacuated.
