LEVEL, the Barcelona-based long-haul airline, has announced that it will fly the Miami – Barcelona route beginning March 31, 2024 for the start of the summer airline season.
To cope with the increase in operations expected for next summer, LEVEL will add a sixth aircraft to its fleet, specifically an Airbus A330-200, the same model as other aircrafts in LEVEL’s fleet.
The new Barcelona – Miami route will have three weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Beginning March 31, 2024 Miami will become the fifth city in the United States that LEVEL will connect with, directly and nonstop, along with New York, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
In 2017, LEVEL established its base of operations in Barcelona. Since then, the commitment to the city’s long-haul connectivity has shown solid and sustained growth. The airline seeks to develop Barcelona’s connectivity to new and relevant destinations for the city from multiple perspectives.
The addition of the sixth aircraft to LEVEL’s fleet is further proof of the airline’s ongoing commitment to promote and consolidate the intercontinental hub in Barcelona. Offering a wide variety of destinations in Spain and Europe in connection with Vueling – another airline of the International Airline Group that flies to short and medium-haul destinations also based in Barcelona.
This connectivity now strengthened by the new route from Barcelona to Miami, reinforces the company’s long-haul connectivity to the United States, a strategic market for the company. LEVEL is committed to the U.S. market, as evidenced by sustained growth year after year. For the summer season, which starts March 31, LEVEL will offer 17% more capacity than it did last summer. In addition, the company is the only airline that directly connects Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco with Barcelona.
