World Airline News logo

Welcome to World Airline News, your new free online source for airline news and the latest color photos. We live in the information age. Airlines are rapidly changing and it is a very dynamic industry. So is the way airline news is now being reported. Today readers demand rapid “got to have it now” information especially on their mobile devices. Old traditional printed ways reporting dated airline news is becoming more of the past. We strive to be different in this age. Our goal is to provide you with the latest daily “real time” airline news. Airlines fly every day and we report the news every day. We do not charge you for our news. We welcome contributions from airlines, manufacturers and interested readers willing to help us record the news for history.

The World Airline News is the official airline news blog of the Airliners Gallery photo library, the online home of high-quality, high-resolution aviation stock images of jet and prop aircraft that are available separately as framable color prints, posters and aviation gifts on the AG website.

Please be aware of the growing number of unauthorized “copy cat bloggers” who steal our our researched content and repost our material without permission on their blogs with their ads. We appreciate your direct support.

AG Read the Real WAN

World Airline News is unique – we combine fresh daily airline news content with the latest photos from the AG library.

We also add extra colorful features such as route maps and airline videos. In essence, this is the new age of reading the news.

There are many ways to read WAN. Besides this blog, WAN is also available as an e-mail subcription for all posts and it is also available as separate pages on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin, Tumblr and a RSS feed for your e-reader (please see the top right column for these links).

WAN is also unique in that we offer a beautiful “Slide Show” option for each airline. Just click the “Slide Show” button or embedded slide show at the end of the story and you can view the aircraft of that airline in spectacular full-screen action photos (click on any photo for the full-screen view). The Slide Show contains current and historical aircraft.
