An inflatable emergency slide accidentally deployed inside of a Delta Air Lines plane while on the ground at Salt Lake International Airport (SLC) on Saturday, June 10.

There were 168 passengers on board the Boeing 767-300 (N189DN).

Delta issued this statement:

“Delta flight DL 520, operating from New York-JFK to Los Angeles-LAX, diverted to Salt Lake City due to a maintenance issue. While on the ground, the same aircraft’s slide was deployed by accident.”
