iAero Airways is pursuing an asset-sale agreement for its Boeing 737s

An affiliate of Eastern Air Holdings of Kansas City has submitted a bid to acquire AeroTech Miami and iAero Airways.

iAero is pursuing an asset-sale agreement with this affiliate linked with Eastern Air Lines (3rd).

The proposed asset sale would include the Boeing 737s of iAero Airways.

According to the carrier, iAero Airways owns and/or operates over 40 Boeing aircraft in All Economy passenger, Mixed Class passenger, VIP, and cargo configurations; B737 Classic (-300 and -400), B737 New Generation (-800).

iAero Airways, a U.S. FAA Part 121 certified air carrier and the largest B2B passenger charter and cargo air carrier in the U.S., announced on September 19, 2023, in order to implement a restructuring transaction and assure long-term viability, it and certain of its affiliates have filed voluntary petitions for Chapter 11 reorganization in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida – Miami Division.

iAero Airways is based in Greensboro, NC. and Miami, FL. 

Originally founded in 1997 as Swift Air, the Company has a 20+ year history of safety, growth, and diversification.

In 2019, Swift Air was acquired by iAero Group and rebranded as iAero Airways. The Company is an FAA Part 121 certified air carrier.
