Air Bucharest has filed for insolvency with the Bucharest court. The application has been accepted.

Air Bucharest was a charter airline based in Bucharest, Romania. It was founded in 2010 and operated its first commercial flight from Cluj to Antalya on July 3, 2010.

The airline suspended operations on October 24, 2022.

Fibula Air Travel had acquired 50% of the company and had plans to get the grounded airline back in the air under a new name but this not materialize.
