On October 12, 2023, MYAir (Kuala Lumpur) announced that it had suspended operations effective immediately due to “severe financial challenges”.

As a result of the grounding, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) revoked the air operator’s certificate (AOC) effective April 15, 2024 after the company failed to find a new investor prior to the April 14 deadline.
