Air Senegal has announced it will start a new route from its Dakar home to London via Stansted Airport (STN) on June 26, 2020.
The new route will be operated three days a week with its Airbus A321-200 aircraft.

Air Senegal has announced the opening of new Dakar-Geneva-Dakar flights from June 18, 2020.
The Dakar-Geneva-Dakar flight will be operated three times a week (Monday, Thursday, Saturday) with two class service that can accommodate 16 passengers in business class with quality beds (full flat bed) and 149 passengers in economy class.
The plane will leave from Dakar at 00:50 GMT and will arrive in Geneva at 08:25 (Geneva time). It will leave at 09:55 (Geneva time) to arrive in Dakar at 13:50 GMT.

Air Senegal, the new national carrier of Senegal, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for eight Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
The MoU was signed in the presence of HE Alioune SARR, Minister of Tourism and Transport Senegal.
By the end of October 2019 the A220 had accumulated 530 orders.

Air Senegal has taken delivery of its first A330-900 from Airbus’ production line in Toulouse. The carrier is the first African airline to fly Airbus’ new generation widebody aircraft featuring latest technology engines, new wings with enhanced aerodynamics and a curved wingtip design, drawing best practices from the A350 XWB.

The new Air Senegal (Senegal) has been awarded its Air Operators Certificate (AOC). The AOC was awarded today, April 30, 2018.
The new airline is planning to launch scheduled passenger flights in May from Dakar with two ATR 72-600 turboprops.
The first route will be Dakar-Ziguinchor starting on May 14, 2018.
The new flag carrier is also planning to add two leased Airbus A319s in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Air Sénégal, Sénégal’s national carrier has signed a firm order for two Airbus A330neo aircraft, the new re-engined version of the best-selling A330 wide-body airliner. The order follows on from the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in November at the Dubai Airshow.
The agreement was signed in Dakar by Philippe Bohn, CEO Air Sénégal and Fouad Attar, Head of Commercial Aircraft Airbus Africa Middle East, in the presence of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron on a state visit to Senegal, and Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal.
Launched in July 2014, the A330neo is the very latest generation in Airbus’ wide-body family. It builds on the proven economics, versatility and reliability of the A330 family, while reducing fuel consumption by about 25 percent per seat. The A330neo is powered by Rolls-Royce’s latest-generation Trent 7000 engines and features a new larger span wing with sharklet wingtip devices. The cabin also provides the comfort of the new “Airspace” amenities.

The A330neo will benefit the airline’s growth and business expansion in the future. The agreement makes Air Sénégal the first airline in Africa to select the A330neo.
The agreement was announced during a signing ceremony at the Dubai Airshow in the presence of Maimouna Ndoye Seck, Minister of Air transport and Development of Airport Infrastructure, Senegal. Air Senegal will launch operations in 2018, the airline plans to use the A330neo to develop its medium and long-haul network with the aircraft offering cutting-edge technology along with more efficient operations.
