Scoot on May 7 put its first Embraer E190-E2 into revenue service.

The new type will operate from Singapore to Krabi and Hat Yail.

Service to Koh Samui, Kuantan, Miri and Sibu will be added with the second aircraft.

With the addition of Koh Samui and Sibu, Scoot will operate to 69 destinations in the region.

Nine aircraft will be delivered to the subsidiary of Singapore Airlines.

The first aircraft is named “Explorer 3.0”.
