JetBlue launches flights from Albany, NY to both Orlando and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood

JetBlue Airways (New York) yesterday (December 10) launched two new routes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Albany International Airport (ALB).

JetBlue’s Schedule from/to Albany as of December 10, 2015:

ALB – FLL

12:50 p.m. – 4:06 p.m.

FLL – ALB

9:14 a.m. – 12:07 p.m.

ALB – MCO

4:45 p.m. – 7:54 p.m.

MCO – ALB

1:20 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Daily service from Albany to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Orlando operates on JetBlue’s 150-seat A320 aircraft.

American Eagle to fly the Chicago O’Hare – Albany, NY route

American Airlines (Dallas/Fort Worth) is adding American Eagle (operated by Envoy Air) Bombardier CRJ700 jet service from the Chicago (O’Hare) hub to Albany, New York starting on March 3, 2016.

In other news, Mesa Airlines will expand American Eagle services from the Phoenix hub to Lubbock, Memphis, Midland/Odessa and Roswell starting on March 3, 2016 per Airline Route.

JetBlue announces the start date for flights from Albany, NY to Florida

JetBlue Airways (New York) has announced the start of service at Albany International Airport (ALB). The airline will operate daily service to its focus cities of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) starting on December 10, 2015.

With the addition of Albany, JetBlue will offer service to eight airports in New York State. JetBlue’s Schedule From Albany as of December 10, 2015:

JetBlue to fly from Albany, New York starting next year

JetBlue Airways (New York) and U.S. Senator Charles Schumer from New York held a press conference in Albany, New York announcing it would serve the state capitol of New York starting in late 2015. Albany will be 8th city in New York State. No details on the routes were provided.
