Fly Atlantic (Belfast), the proposed trans-Atlantic airline, has delayed its commencement of services to at least the summer of 2025.

The airline is blaming its delay on the issue of finding suitable aircraft.

With the return of passengers, the market for unused airliners has tightened.

Fly Atlantic is a new British airline which is proposing to fly low-cost flights from Belfast, Northern Ireland, to the United States, Canada, as well as other British destinations and the rest of Europe.

The proposed airline will need to secure aircraft as well as its AOC.

Operations will commence in the summer of 2024.
