Air Montenegro to fly from Podgorica to Istanbul

Air Montenegro will fly to Istanbul from Podgorica starting on June 18.

The seasonal route will operate twice a week through the summer season.

The airline will operate its Embraer 195s on the route.

Air Montenegro unveils its livery

Air Montenegro has unveiled its livery of its Embraer 195 4O-AOA. Previously the airline has been operating its aircraft in an all-white condition.

The eagle logo has been retained from Montenegro Airlines.

According to the airline:

The 4O-AOA is the first aircraft to carry our corporate symbols.
The branding is inspired by the unique colors of the sunset over the Montenegrin sea and mountains.

 

 

Air Montenegro to restore the Frankfurt route

Air Montenegro has announced it will restore the Podgorica-Frankfurt route, operating twice a week service, every Saturday and Wednesday, starting on December 18.

The route was temporarily suspended in September due to travel restrictions and COVID-19 measures of the Federal Republic of Germany that were in force at the time.

Air Montenegro has now recognized the importance of connecting the two countries due to demand and great passenger interest, especially during the New Year and Christmas holidays.

Air Montenegro operates an Embraer 195 that as transferred from defunct Montenegro Airlines.

Air Montenegro to launch operations on June 10

Air Montenegro, the new flag carrier of Montenegro, will launch scheduled passenger operations on June 10, 2021 according to Ex-YU Aviation.

The first routes will link Podgorica and Tivat with Belgrade with an Embraer 195.

Air Montenegro is the successor of liquidated Montenegro Airlines.

A new logo and livery for the new airline is being developed.
