OLT Express (Poland) ends charter operations

OLT Express (Poland) (Warsaw) ended charter operations on July 31. Previously the airline ended scheduled operations on July 26. The fleet has been returned to the owners and put into storage.

OLT Express (Poland) suspends scheduled operations after Amber Gold stops funding

OLT Express (Poland) (formerly Yes Airways) (Warsaw) suspended all scheduled operations after the last flight of the day last night (July 26). All flights scheduled today are cancelled. Charter flights however will be operated. Owner Amber Gold Group has stopped funding the airline and the airline is now searching for new investors. The carrier has promised to give full refunds. The airline was operating scheduled domestic flights in Poland and international holiday flights since April.

Yes Airways changed its name to OLT Express in January 2012 following the acquisition by Amber Gold.

It is not known how this move by the Amber Gold Group will affect OLT Express (Germany).

OLT Express Poland to add 17 new routes in April

OLT Express (Poland) (formerly Yes Airways) (Warsaw) will add 17 new routes in Poland in April according to Warsaw Business Journal.

According to the WBJ, from Warsaw will add new services to Gdańsk, Szczecin, Poznań, Wrocław and Rzeszów. From Gdańsk, the company will add new flights to Szczeciń, Poznań, Wrocław, Katowice, Kraków, Łódź and Warsaw.

Yes Airways is rebranded as OLT Express by its new Amber Gold owners

Yes Airways (Warsaw) was a short-lived carrier. The Polish airline has been rebranded as OLT Express by its new Amber Gold owners which also now owns OLT (Germany) and OLT Jetair (Poland).
