Tropical Storm Ian was born this morning. The storm in the Caribbean is expected to grow into a major hurricane by next week and turn towards Cuba and Florida. The projected cone is now targeting most of Florida for next Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday.

TPA will suspend operations at 5 p.m. today due to Tropical Storm Elsa. We expect to open Wednesday morning after a storm assessment. Please check with your airline for flight updates.
