Virgin Nigeria is now Nigerian Eagle Airlines

The first aircraft to be repainted at Shannon is this Boeing 737-33V registered 5N-VNF (msn 29341). The airliner was later routed from Shannon to Palma de Mallorca and then Lagos on September 17, having arrived in SNN in the old Virgin Nigeria colors on September 11. Nigerian Eagle Airlines Logo (LR)Virgin Nigeria Airways (Lagos) yesterday (September 17) changed its name to Nigerian Eagle Airlines. the first aircraft to be repainted is Boeing 737-33V 5N-VNF (msn 29341).

Virgin Nigeria to have a new name tomorrow

Virgin Nigeria Airways (Lagos) is expected to announce a new name tomorrow. Aircraft have already been painted in a new livery and will be unveiled tomorrow also.

Virgin Atlantic to cuts ties with Virgin Nigeria

Virgin Atlantic Airways (London) according to the BBC and unnamed sources will sell its 49 percent share of Virgin Nigeria Airways (Lagos) as the partnership has lately gone in the wrong direction. According to the report, Virgin Nigeria has until early July to rebrand itself. In essence this is the end of Virgin Nigeria Airways which commenced operations on June 28, 2005.
