flyBAIR to launch operations on July 18

 

flyBAIR, the new Swiss airline, will start operations on July 18, 2020 with two routes, Bern – Palma de Mallorca and Sion – Palma de Mallorca with Embraer E190-E1 aircraft.

The new airline also announced Crete and Rhodes will be added in mid-August, and Jerez, Kos, Menorca and Preveza in September.

FlyBAIR to launch operations on May 2, 2020

FlyBAIR has announced it will launch scheduled passenger operations on May 2, 2020. The first route will be from Bern, Switzerland to Palma de Mallorca.

This will be followed by three other destinations also starting in May:

Bern – Mahon – May 10

Bern – Olbia May 12

Bern – Jerez de la Fontera

Helvetic Airways will operate its Embraer 190 aircraft for the new carrier in FlyBAIR markings.

New proposed Swiss airline FlyBair seeks crowdfunding capital

FlyBair (stylized as flyBAIR) is a new proposed Swiss airline based in Bern. The upstart is seeking capital to start operations through a crowdsourcing effort.

If successful in funding, the new carrier is targeting May 2020 for the start of operations.

FlyBair will be a virtual airline, marketing flights under their brand. Aircraft would be operated by and leased from German Airways (formerly WDL Aviation and LGW).
