Lufthansa (Frankfurt) is set to expand its European network from its Munich hub and has identified Routes’ events as a major factor in it achieving this latest stage of its network growth. The airline will introduce routes from Munich to the Croatian city of Pula and the southern French city of Montpellier during the summer of 2012.
The two routes will be served on a weekly basis with Saturday flights and will mainly target leisure travellers. The flight to Montpellier is due to launch in April 2012, while Pula will be added on May 5, 2012. Additionally Lufthansa will add routes to Jersey, Bastia, Odessa and Valencia in the summer of 2012.
