Agni Air (Kathmandu) has had another accident involving a Dornier 228-200 turboprop aircraft. This morning (May 14) the pictured Dornier 228-200 9N-AIG (msn 8216) was operating a charter flight from Pokhara to Jomson with 18 passengers (including 16 Indian tourists) and three crew members. While attempting to land at the mountainous Jomson Airport the aircraft overshot the runway and attempted to go around. The pilot apparently clipped the wing with the mountainside and the aircraft crashed, killing 15 of the 21 people on board.
