HiSky announces its winter schedule

HiSky has announced its schedule for the winter season: November 2021 – March 2022.

HiSky is a Moldovan airline based in Chișinău, Moldova, the airline has an additional Air Operating Certificate (AOC) in Romania. The airlines main bases are Chișinău International Airport and Cluj International Airport.

Flights to/from Chisinau:

Chisinau – Dublin – Chisinau (every Wednesday and Saturday)

Chisinau – Frankfurt – Chisinau (every Saturday)

Chisinau – Paris – Chisinau (every Wednesday and Sunday)

Chisinau – Moscow – Chisinau (every day)

Flight from/to Cluj

Cluj – Dublin – Cluj (every Wednesday and Sunday)

Cluj – Lisbon – Cluj (every Thursday)

Flight to/from Iasi

Iași – Dublin – Iași (every Wednesday and Sunday)

Flight from/to Satu Mare

Satu Mare – Paris – Satu Mare (every Wednesday and Sunday)

About HiSky

HiSky was certified as a Romanian air operator in December, 2020 (the AOC with the number RO-074) and as a Moldovan air operator in January, 2021 (the AOC number MD-025). HiSky offers passengers tickets from Cluj, Iasi, The Big Village and Chisinau and operates around 15 regular and charter flights to major destinations in Europe, Asia and Africa.

HiSky has a fleet consisting of two Airbus A320 with 180 seats and an Airbus A319 with 144 seats (“Bee”, “Yankee”, “Eco Romeo”). The average age of the three HiSky aircraft is 11 years.

The first commercial flight took place on March 5, 2021.

HiSky to start flying to Frankfurt

HiSky (Chișinău, Moldova) has announced it will start flying from Satu Mare International Airport with two frequencies per week (Monday and Saturday) to Frankfurt, Germany starting on May 1.

Previously HiSky made its first commercial flight on March 5, 2001. It was a charter flight to Chisinau – Hurghada (Egypt). Start of services was delayed from 2020 due to COVID-19.

The company operates three Airbus A320s.

HiSky was certified as a Romanian air carrier in December (AOC number RO-074).

In February 2021 the airline announced flights from Cluj, Iaşi, Satu Mare and Chisinau and charter flights from Cluj, Timişoara, Baia Mare and Oradea.

ALC leases an Airbus A320-200 with newcomer HiSky Moldova

Despite COVID-19 a new airline is ready to launch operations in July:

Air Lease Corporation has announced a long-term lease placement for one used Airbus A320-200 aircraft (msn 4493) with HiSky Moldova, scheduled to be delivered this July.  This will be the first aircraft in the fleet of the Moldovan startup airline.

HiSky Moldova was established by a team of enthusiasts that combines hundreds of years of experience in aviation.  The Company will launch regular flights in July 2020 from its hub Chisinau International Airport to six European destinations: London (Great Britain), Dublin (Ireland), Lisbon (Portugal), Paris (France), Bologne (Italy), and Dusseldorf (Germany).

HiSky is ready to launch its flights from July 1, 2020. Our partner – the Romanian air operator Cobrex Trans, received a flight permit for operating flights from Chisinau International Airport. The document was issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova on April 7, 2020.

HiSky delays its start-up to late May

HiSky (Chisinau), the new Moldavian airline, has delayed its launch from April 10 to May 28, 2020.

The new carrier is planning to launch scheduled passenger flights with two Airbus A320s from Chisinau to Beauvais (near Paris), Bologna, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Lisbon and London (Stansted).

HiSky – a new airline is launching in Moldova

HiSky is a new airline based in the Republic of Moldova. The prospective airline is planning to launch on April 10, 2020 from Chisinau.

The airline issued this statement:

People interested in aviation services have a new alternative – HiSky. The company – founded in Moldova, launches on the local and regional market on the basis of a partnership with the Romanian operator Cobrex Trans.

HiSky will operate flights to six destinations in Europe – London (United Kingdom), Dublin (Ireland), Lisbon (Portugal), Paris (France), Bologna (Italy) and Dusseldorf (Germany).

It’s for the first time for Moldova, when direct flights from Chisinau to Dusseldorf will be operated. Flights to this destination are planned twice a week: on Mondays and Fridays.

The flights will be operated starting on April 10, 2020.

The price policy combines low-cost principles with a wide range of additional services charged in a transparent manner, so that the passengers could be aware of the price and charges they pay for.
