Donavia is planning to operate its last Boeing 737-400 on September 16

Donavia (formerly Aeroflot Don) (Rostov-on-Don, Russia) is currently planning to operate its last Boeing 737-400 flight on September 16 according to Airline Route. The 737 Classic is assigned to the Rostov-Moscow (Sheremetyevo) route. However this date is fluid due to a pending closure of the Rostov Airport between September 8-24.

Donavia has been replacing its older Boeing 737-400s and 737-500s with newer Airbus A319s.

Donavia becomes a new Airbus operator, adds two former Air Canada A319s

Donavia (Rostov-on-Don) is becoming a new Airbus operator. The Russian carrier, which operates Boeing 737-400s and 737-500s, has added two former Air Canada Airbus A319s.

Donavia to add two routes from Sochi

Donavia (Rostov-on-Don) is adding two new routes from Sochi to both Ekaterinburg and Volgograd starting on May 26 per Airline Route.

Aeroflot Don reverts back to Donavia

Aeroflot Don (Rostov-on-Don) reverted back to its original Donavia name on September 25, 2009. Aeroflot Russian Airlines (Moscow) severed the relationship on September 14, 2008 following the tragic crash at Perm on the same day.
