SBA Airlines AOC is suspended

Airline Color Scheme - Introduced 2016

SBA Airlines (Caracas) has announced its Air Operators Certificate (AOC) on January 26, 2018 was suspended for 90 days by the El Instituto Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil (INAC) of Venezuela.

 

The airline must now demonstrate it can meet the current technical and financial regulations before its AOC can be restored.

SBA to drop the Caracas-Madrid route

SBA Airlines (formerly Santa Barbara Airlines) (Caracas) is planning to drop the Caracas-Madrid route on February 13 per Airline Route. The route is currently operated four days a week with Boeing 767-300s.

SBA-Santa Barbara Airlines (Caracas) is planning to wet lease Boeing 767-383 ER TF-FIB (msn 25365) from Icelandair (Keflavik) for the Caracas-Miami route, effective June 10.
