Astar Air Cargo (Miami and Cincinnati) is closing its Cincinnati hub and laying off 160 employees after losing the DHL contract on June 1. Ironically the company was formerly named DHL Airways. The carrier has parked most of its aircraft painted in DHL colors but at least one aircraft is believed to be operating on government contracts.
