Air Macau has presented its first A320neo (B-MCK) at a ceremony held at Macau International Airport. The aircraft is the 21st Airbus aircraft in Air Macau’s fleet that already includes four A319ceo, six A320ceo and 10 A321ceo aircraft.
In total, Air Macau will receive eight additional A320neo and A321neo aircraft under leasing agreement in order to meet its fleet renewal and expansion program.
The new aircraft features 158 seats (eight business and 150 economy seats). Selected for its outstanding operational efficiency, comfort and range, the A320neo will be deployed by the career on its regional services.
Featuring the widest single-aisle cabin in the sky, the A320neo Family incorporates the very latest technologies including new generation engines and Sharklets, which together deliver at least 15 percent fuel savings at delivery and 20 percent by 2020. At the end of March 2019, the A320neo Family had received more than 6,500 firm orders from over 100 customers worldwide.
Air Lease Corporation (ALC) today has announced a long-term lease agreement for two new Airbus A321neo aircraft with Air Macau.
Featuring Pratt & Whitney PW1133G engines, the aircraft will deliver from ALC’s order book with Airbus in November 2019 and the first quarter of 2020.

On December 18, 2017, Air Macau held an inaugural ceremony of the Macau – Changzhou route at the Departure Hall, Macau International Airport.
|The routes of Air Macau in East China have covered Shanghai, Nanjing and Hefei, while Changzhou will be the fourth destination of Air Macau in East China. Changzhou – Macao route will be operated Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It will build solid foundation for the promotion of economy, trade cooperation, cultural exchanges and tourism resource sharing. In addition, we are looking forward to sharing the achievements of the rapid development in the Greater Bay Area with the people of Changzhou via the flights of Air Macau in the future and making progress together.

Air Macau’s (Macau, China) shareholders on November 4, 2011 approved a new capital restructuring proposal, with a multi-million dollar injection from the Macau SAR government.
With the capital injection, the Macau SAR government becomes Air Macau’s second major shareholder after Air China (80.86%). New shares are being issued.
