Fly Romania (Ten Airways) (Bucharest) commenced low-fare operations on May 15 from Bucharest (Henri Coanda), Timisoara and Tulcea in Romania to Antalya (starting in June), Barcelona (also in June), Bergamo (May 16), Genova, Hahn (near Frankfurt) and Verona. Fly Romania is the low-cost operation of charter airline Ten Airways which started operations in 2009.

Fly Romania (Bucharest) is a new airline that is planning to launch operations in April with McDonnell Douglas DC-9-80s (MD-80s). The new carrier is planning to launch operations on April 15. The first routes will be from Bucharest to Timisoara and Verona followed by Genoathe next day. Bergamo and Tulcea join on April 18. The route map will be expanded in June with new service to Antalya, Barcelona and Hahn (near Frankfurt).
