Jazeera Airways is expanding in 2019. The airline will take delivery of three additional new Airbus A320neo aircraft which will allow for further expansion.
According to Airline Route, the airline expects to start new service to London (Gatwick) in 2019. The carrier will add new routes to Bodrum and Istanbul (Sabiha Gokcen) in Turkey, Kathmandu in Nepal, Dhaka in Bangladesh and Karachi in Pakistan.
Jazeera Airways today launched four weekly flights to Kochi from Kuwait City. Jazeera Airways inaugurated the third Indian destination at an event in the city today.
Following its recent launch into Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, Kochi is the third route in India being offered by Jazeera, launching nonstop flights from Kuwait City from January 18, and connecting beyond to other destinations across the Middle East.
Flights operate four days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays departing at 8:55 pm from Kochi and arriving at 12:10 am in Kuwait and from Kuwait, departing at 12:45 pm reaching Kochi at 8:10 pm.
Jazeera Airways (Kuwait City) has announced plans for further expansion into India. Following a successful launch in Hyderabad in November, Jazeera Airways will now fly to Ahmedabad and Kochi starting on January 17 and 18, 2018 respectively.

During the most celebrated month of the year, the Airbus A320 with registration 9K-CAJ is furnished with the Kuwaiti flags alongside captivating text that reads “daaam 3eezik ya Kuwait” as a gesture of airline’s pride of the Kuwaiti heritage and liberation.
Epitomizing Kuwaiti culture in their approach to airline hospitality and service, Jazeera Airways has played its part in the country’s economic growth and is presently one of the largest operators at Kuwait airport.
Jazeera Airways Group (Kuwait City) saw its first quarter net profit surge by nearly 42 percent to 2.1 million Kuwaiti Dinar ($7.46 million).

In other news, the airline will temporarily operate from the Al Martoum International Airport at the Dubai World Central (DWC) from May 1 while the runway work occurs at nearby Dubai International Airport (DXB).
