QANTAS Airways flight QF144 from Auckland to Sydney on January 18 flying in the Tasman Sea was forced to shut down one of its engines. VH-XZB landed safely in Sydney.
QANTAS issued this short statement:
“Qantas Flight 144, a 737 flying from Auckland to Sydney, experienced an issue with one of its engines about an hour from its destination.”
