REDjet to double its fleet and expand operations

REDjet (flyREDjet.com) (Bridgetown, Barbados) resumed operations after taking a lot of bad press when one of its aircraft was unable to maintain operations. The young airline apologized and is adding two additional McDonnell Douglas DC-9-80 (MD-80) aircraft. The airline is also expanding, adding Antigua and Jamaica.

REDjet is adding the Port-of-Spain (Trinidad)-Kingston (Jamaica) route on November 20, the Barbados-Kingston route on November 21 and finally the Antigua-Georgetown (Guyana) on November 23.
