Felipe Ángeles International Airport is open for business

Felipe Ángeles International Airport (NLU) is the new, second airport for Mexico City.

The new airport was opened on March 21 by by the Mexican President Lopez Obrador and AeroMexico with a domestic flight to Tabasco.

The airport is named after Felipe Ángeles who was a general in the Mexican Revolution.

The new airport is located in the northeast sector of the metropolitan area.
