Air Seychelles’ first Boeing 767-300 in the new livery arrives in Mahe

Air Seychelles’ (Mahe)ย first Boeing 767-300 aircraft painted in the national airlineโ€™s new corporate livery arrived on Monday evening (October 31) in Mahe from Abu Dhabi, where it had undergone two weeks of repainting works on its fuselage.

The new livery is part of a new and recently launched corporate branding of the national airline where vibrant and tropical colours have been used to blend in with the natural beauty and environment of the Seychelles.

The colors used on the tail end are commonly associated with the Seychelles blue, green, red and white. According to the airline, “these striking colors with the abstracted images of the birds and leaves are aimed at evoking the Seychellesโ€™ Creole spirit and blend in with the airlineโ€™s tagline โ€“ Flying the Creole Spiritโ€.

Launched to major tour operators, travel agents and representatives at Top Resa in Paris in September, the new livery also promotes the magnificent ecosystem that Seychelles boasts and to signal Air Seychelles support for a greener Seychelles and a greener Earth.

The new logo, which is in the form of a fluid organic shape like that of a leaf, has been painted on either side of fuselage with a more modern, fresh and expensive image of the trademark pair of Fairy Terns embedded on.

The wordings โ€œairโ€ is in a lighter blue to signify the sky, while โ€œ Seychellesโ€ in a darker blue to signify the ocean that appears at the centre of either fuselage sides.

The re-painting of Boeing 767-37D ER S7-AHM (msn 26328), named “Vallee de Mai” was carried out by the ADAT.

Air Seychelles plans to have the new livery painted on a second 767, early next year.
