Georgian National Airlines-GN (Tbilisi) is now operating as Sky Georgia following the acquisition of U.S. investment fund Sky Group. The company actually changed its name on November 15, 2008 but has just recently started adding new titles with its two McDonnell Douglas DC-9-51s (4L-GNL and 4L-GNN). However the airline is also planning nonstop Tbilisi-New York flights.
