Boeing’s (Chicago and Seattle) management is not yet ready to confirm a new schedule for the 787 Dreamliner. Recent unconfirmed published media reports are now quoting unnamed Boeing engineers stating the 787’s first flight is probably now delayed to 2010 due to wing to body problems. Can Boeing still make a profit with all of these delays and additional costs?
