Bellview Airlines (Lagos) had an incident yesterday (September 3) in Lagos when security forces were deployed to quell a riot from stranded passengers of a very delayed Bellview flight. The passengers had been waiting for their flight since Monday according to local media reports!

Rumor is that both of their 767-200s have left the fleet and are now on the US register. They had been leasing in a 757 from Air Italy and then Air Italy abruptly cancelled the contract and diverted one of the LHR flights to Verona (apparently over non-payment). They then switched to Euro Atlantic 757s, but am not sure if they are still flying. Does not look good for them.
