Ryanair (Dublin) has once again pressured an airport to lower its fees. It has told Shannon Airport it must cut its fees by 50 percent or it will cancel more flights. The airline claims it has not made a profit at the airport in the past five years due to the high rates. This past summer the airline reduced the number of based aircraft from six to four.

Strange that Ryanair declared that it has not generated profits since 5 years!!! Ryanair should have stopped to operate out of Shannon long time ago, it sounds like Ryanair just realised that now, I can’t believe it. I think they try to take advantage of the sell of Gatwick airport and put more pressure on Shannon Airport Authority.
