Air New Zealand apologizes for 1979 crash

Air New Zealand (Auckland) has unveiled a memorial and also apologized to the families of the victims for the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 sightseeing flight tragedy over Mount Erebus on November 28, 1979. 257 people died in New Zealand’s worst aviation tragedy.
