US Airways’ pilots request mediation

US Airways’ (Phoenix) yesterday (November 13) formally requested mediation of its stalled contract negotiations with the National Mediation Board (NMB). US Airways’ pilots work under two contracts, one for America West’s pilots and another for the old US Airways’ pilots (US Airways is still being operated as two airlines).
