Amerijet International (Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood and Miami) announced it has taken delivery of its first of two Boeing 767-200 wide-body freighters from Cargo Aircraft Management, Inc. (CAM), a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG). The second leased freighter is scheduled to be delivered to Amerijet this spring.  Amerijet signed a seven year agreement with CAM to dry-lease a total of five Boeing 767-200 freighters. The 767s will enable the airline to increase capacity on its scheduled service routes, and expand its charter availability. Previously AmeriJet wet-leased Boeing 767-200 freighters from ABX Air.

The carrier’s current fleet of eight Boeing 727-200s are deployed on scheduled and charter flights, to points in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America.
