Hebei Airlines (Shijiazhuang) is the new airline of Hebei Province in China. The new airline launched scheduled passenger operations on June 29 using the assets of defunct Northeast Airlines (Dongbei Air) (Shenyang) per this report from ATW. The airline operates one Airbus A319-132 (B-6170, msn 2396) and two Embraer ERJ 145 regional jets (B-3040, msn 145317 and B-3041, msn 145349) on domestic routes from Shijiazhuang to Chengdu, Guilin, Hohhot, Qinhuangdao and Shanghai.
Northeast Airlines previously commenced operations on November 1, 2007 and was a joint venture between Sichuan Airlines (33.5%) and local interests. The aircraft were leased from and operated by Sichuan Airlines.
