Atlas Air starts flying for TNT Airways

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (New York) confirmed that its subsidiary, Atlas Air (New York-JFK), has entered into a contract with TNT Airways (Liege), the Belgium-based aviation division of TNT, N.V. (Euronext Amsterdam). Under the agreement, Atlas Air will provide Boeing 747-400 Freighter service for TNT’s international express air network under an Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance (ACMI) agreement.

The 747-400F aircraft, which began operations for TNT Airways’ long-haul network on September 15, will be based at TNT’s European base of Liege, Belgium.
