UAE investigators consider claims by al-Qaida concerning the UPS Boeing 747-400 crash

UPS Airlines (UPS Parcel Service) Boeing 747-44AF N571UP (msn 35668) ANC (Brian McDonough) (crashed on takeoff at Dubai September 3, 2010), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

United Arab Emirates’ (Dubai) civil aviation investigators do not believe a terrorist bomb explosion caused the September 3, 2010 crash of an UPS Airlines’ Boeing 747-400F freighter near Dubai but are taking seriously a claim by Yemen’s al-Qaida that it brought down the plane.
