Delta’s 757-351 N589NW makes an emergency landing at Colorado Springs, two injured

Delta Air Lines (Atlanta) flight DL 1921 from Detroit to Phoenix with Boeing 757-351 N589NW was forced to make an emergency landing at the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) yesterday (December 30) after reporting trouble with its right engine.

The flight departed Detroit (DTW) at 8:50 a.m. EST (0850) to Phoenix (PHX). The crew elected to make an emergency landing at COS due to engine problem. The flight landed safely but two passengers received minor injuries exiting the aircraft via the emergency chutes.
