Air Namibia to acquire its first Airbus A319

Air Namibia (Windhoek) is on the verge on taking delivery of its first Airbus A319. Previously the company has wet leased an A319 (LZ-AOA) from BH Air.

Update: The first A319 entered service in September 2011. The A319 will be used on routes connecting Windhoek with Johannesburg, Cape Town, London and Accra.

Air Namibia received a second A319 in late September 2011 and plans to introduce a further two aircraft by November 2012.
