US Airways to de-hub Las Vegas

US Airways Airbus A319-132 N837AW (msn 2595) (Arizona Cardinals) LAS (Keith Burton), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

US Airways (Phoenix) is continuing downsize its presence at Las Vegas (McCarran). The former America West hub will be reduced by a further 40% going from 35 daily flights to only 21 later this year and in early 2012. The routes being dropped include Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Fresno. The routes remaining will only be to its remaining hubs.
