US Airways to de-hub Las Vegas

US Airways (Phoenix) is continuing downsize its presence at Las Vegas (McCarran). The former America West hub will be reduced by a further 40% going from 35 daily flights to only 21 later this year and in early 2012. The routes being dropped include Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Fresno. The routes remaining will only be to its remaining hubs.
