LAMIA prepares to relaunch operations with the help of Cityjet

LAMIA-Linea Aerea Meridena Internacional de Aviacion (Merida, Venezuela) is making a comeback. The new airline, which suspended operations in October 2010, has now worked through its issues and is planning to relaunch scheduled passenger operations this fall. Instead of using a turboprop ATR 72 wet-leased from Swiftair (Madrid), the new airline has turned to Cityjet (Dublin). Cityjet will operate this BAe RJ85 for LAMIA.
